Using Pegasus for a VERY looong time and now using V.63

I've recently purchased a tablet and notice that emails I've deleted there still show up in Pegasus, presumably because of the POP vs. IMAP issue.

Is there a simple way for me to configure Pegasus to avoid this and can someone point me in the right direction so that I can determine how difficult it might be to do and any downsides.

Presumably you are using POP on pmail and IMAP on the tablet.

With POP the mail is downloaded to the local machine and become a separate copy to anything that may be left on the server.

IMAP, on the other hand, operates on mail that is stored on the server, and any deletions, filing into folders etc. takes place on the server.

To have both devices reflecting the same mail store along with changes made from either device, both will need to use IMAP, connecting to the same account.

 You should set up a new IMAP profile in pmail with your account details and test it out.

Once satisfied, you should copy over any mail you want available from your pmail local folders and disable the POP profile 

That's pretty much what I'd guessed would have to take place.

I guess my #1 question is, after using Pegasus for 10+ years with tons of folders set up, how complicated is it to "copy over any mail you want available from your pmail local folders???"

Should be no drama.

Not sure about drag and drop folders, but worst case is just make a new folder in the IMAP profile and select all the mail to copy from the old then Copy To new folder. 

How long it will take will depend on the size of the data to transfer and your upload speed.

Also, check the storage space allowed by your IMAP provider.
