One of our users has created personal folders in Outlook.

Hi not sure whether this should go on the Mercury or Outlook threads....

One of our users who has used Outlook in the past asked to use outlook here and despite being shown the IMAP folders for her account on the server set up new personal folders on her PC.  We now need to transfer the emails stores there back to the server, is there an easy way to do this, ideally we would like to merge the messages into the existing folder structure on the server rather than just drag the folders across and end up with two similarly named sets.

Chris,

There are quite a few PST readers out there. They can make a message viewable. I can't help much further as I don't have a PST to play with any more. Having a viewable or hopefully exportable message in a PST is the start of the solution. Next would be something like renaming each message to *.CNM which could be placed in the Pegasus Mail newmail directory.  An alternative to this would be to create either a message folder, or to create a Unix message folder which can then be imported.

I found this article which allows export to individual EML files, which are used by Outlook Express, and only need to be renamed to *.CNM , but it is a costed software.  https://discussions.apple.com/message/23269333#23269333
