When one of the mail servers that I use is acting up,  I have found that I can send mail using Gmail configured for

"Sending mail from a different address", <https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370>.

Almost certainly a configuration error at the recipient server.  Try sending it again - if you still get an error, check your outgoing server is correct.

the entry for smtp is ok in pegasus config.I think some other setting has been disturbed .

I think there is a program involved called  TC/IP but i,m not familiar with its settings.

TCP/IP is just the protocol used to transport the message over the internet.  Is all your other outgoing mail working?

What server are you using for your outgoing (SMTP) mail?
