Templatefile and BCC

Hallo Rolf,

have to answer myself, because I should have known, there's a logical error:
If header "S" contains "Bounced Message (Was:" Copy "Postmaster@mydomain.de"
"Copy" is only to local users ... so should be one of these:

 • If header "S" contains "Bounced Message (Was:" Forward "Postmaster@mydomain.de"
 • If header "S" contains "Bounced Message (Was:" Copy "admin"

The last one got the price [:)]

Thanks

    Olaf

Have created an alias to an template file (TFILE). Works fine!

For some reason I want to have a blind carbon copy (BCC) of the mail send by Mercury/32.  But it seems, Mercury doesn't recognize this entry:

From: postmaster@~N
To: ...
Bcc: someone@domain.com

It seems it doesn't matter, if mailaddress for BCC is at "~N" or at "domain.com". Am I doing something wrong? Doesn't Mercury do that?

At least: How to do that?

Read you

Olaf

As far as I can see TFILE aliases work only as autoresponders, so additional CC or BCC recipients are ignored by core. If you have a distinctive subject header it might be possible to send a copy using a global rule, though.

Hallo Rolf,

so I should create a outgoing rule? Hmm ... never done before in Mercury. I have defined in TFILE:

Subject: Bounced Message (Was: ~S)

Hmm ... do you think this rule will do it:

If header "S" contains "Bounced Message (Was:" Copy "Postmaster@mydomain.de"

 Thanks
