hello, how can an existing installation pegasus mail secure?
I do not know what you mean by this question. If you are asking about how to maintain a backup of the email and configuration files you need to backup the \MAIL directory. By default, Pegasus Mail installs to C:\PMAIL with its program files in C:\PMAIL\PROGRAMS and the mailbox content and most configuration files in C:\PMAIL\MAIL. Maintaining a backup of the \MAIL directory will insure you always have the mail and configuration files.
how can I save the e-mails?
See comment above. FYI, the mailbox directory (C:\PMAIL\MAIL\pmail_user, default user is "Admin") contains the email. New mail messages are stored as .cnm files. Messages in folders are stored in a pair of files (.pmm/.pmi). You can see the filename associated with a folder by right clicking on the folder name and selecting "Folder information".
Can you create or save a data file?
Only of the addressbooks (as a tab-delimited or a tagged text file).
I have to port an existing 7 pegasus mail installation of windwos XP to Windows. you can export mails into another program? thunderbird or outlook?
