Most emails today are formatted as HTML, often with embedded images.
When replying or forwarding such emails, the previously well-formatted paragraphs are joined into one single endless block of text which is uncomprehesible. In these cases, I copy the original text to either a text editor or MS Word, add the prefix manually, then paste into the reply or forwarded message as properly formatted plain text.
Ticking the "For replies to HTML, preserve original's formatting" makes no significant difference, especially where the original text is contained in a <table> as appears to be the case quite often.
Where it does work, the prefix for quoting is lost. Some HTML emails are impossible to forward in a readable format, at which point I have to revert to Thunderbird for example for this specific task.
IMHO this is the only Achilles heel in Pmail, and it would be nice if it could be fixed, as it still remains my email client of choice.
