Thanks, Stan. I looked: it's a little beyond me and I don't think it addresses the issue I'm having. I've got the fonts looking good, it's only the size of the fonts in the address book that are stuck.

 BTW: if anyone is seeing blurry fonts on a high-res screen: right-click on the Pegasus icon - open properties - open compatibility - check "disable display scaling on high DPI settings. Makes the text crips.

Just moved to a high-res laptop. I've got Pegasus installed and everything set up, pretty much, but can't find any way to change the default fonts in the address books and distribution lists. Couldn't find it in searching the forums thus this plea.

if you have searched the archive you will have seen much written about hardcoded fonts within Pmail that cannot be changed.

I haven't looked at these particularly, but suspect they are included in that group.  

That's unfortunate: on the new screen, the font is really tiny.  As high-res screens become common on laptops I imagine this will become more of an issue.

The only two workarounds I know of are to use a magnifying utility or to reduce the screen resolution.  I haven't seen reports from anyone who found a magnifying utility that was practical to use.  I went the reduced screen res route.  I don't remember what I set it at on my hi-res laptop but I found one that doesn't degrade the screen too much but makes the fixed fonts in Pegasus Mail readable.

This problem sounds a lot like a problem that I had with a software program that I sell to companies. Some customers with high resolution screens experienced distorted interface. The size of bitmap fonts could not be adjusted in size if the computer was connected to a high resolution screen during the install of more recent builds of Windows 7 and above.  I believe it is a flaw in the Windows install procedure. I did a lot of research to finally discover the cause and a fix that worked for my case. Start here:

Thanks, Brian. I'd hate to reduce the resolution as it's such a beauty but you're right the magnifying utility doesn't cut it. I think I'll just squint a lot until things change.
