Images lost in copy-to-self messages

Presumably you are filtering your copies to self. Can you not also do that with the CC's?

I often paste images (screenshots) directly in between the lines of text when I compose an email. And I often need to refer back to those emails by reading my copy-to-self copies. But then the images are blank.

(From Pegasus 4.7 "The URL does not use a recognized protocol (12006)" appears where the images should be.)

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a better method I can use to put images in my email body AND still see it in my local copies?

It seems other email clients do not have this problem.

Add your own email address into the CC: list, and you will get an email back that contains the attachments or screenshots that went out to everyone else.  You should notice that if you don't do this, that the attachment name is always added to the body of the email in the Copies-to-self folder

Mmmmm....

That would be a work-around, but to my mind still not a proper solution.

E.g. I type out lots of emails and my copies-to-self are classified and saved in a range of different folders. CC-ing myself would add quite an "admin-load" in that I'd have to also move the arriving emails (from myself) to the folders they need to be in. Not good.
