Hi Russell, Hi Brian,
thank you very much for your answers.
> I assume you want to keep all mail sent and received for each mailbox separate.
That's exactly what I want.
> If you do not want to create multiple Pegasus Mail users then the option that I can think of is to create multiple identies, each configured with the appropriate POP3 host.
I have created different identities and associated them with the appropriate POP3/SMTP host.
> You then create aTray (in the Folder list) for each identity associated with a hosted mailbox and use filters to filter mail to a folder in the appropriate Tray.
I have created different "Filing Trays", one for each mailbox and created subfolders "Inbox" and "Outbox" in each filing tray.
> Finally, you can associate an identity folders as needed which makes replies appear to come from the associated identity.
I have used "Set default identity for entry" on all "Inbox" and "Outbox" folders to associate it with the corresponding identity.
> If you also must use multiple SMTP servers then you will need to configure each identity to use the appropriate SMTP server.
Done that.
I have created "Copy-self" filter rules, but the mail I send is copied to the outbox of the receiving mailbox, not the sending one.
I have to add the SMTP hosts to the <Default> identity, otherwise PMail complains it cannot send my new mail.
Why?
I have created mail filtering rules for moving the mails from the "New mail" folder to my new "Inbox" folders.
This works on most mails, but not on all.
There are a few left-overs. When I open the mail header, I don't see any entry with the correct "To" or "CC" item.
What should I do?
And, how do I setup the mail filtering rules to work automatically when I check for new mails?
Thanks,
Michael
