Spamhalter training ans settings

I read the Help. It was not very helpful. It does not say which way to move those controls in order to make Spamhalter catch more, or less, spam.

Does anyone know?

Spam level is a threshold value. If the computed spam probability exceeds this value the message is classified as spam.

Not-spam boost is a multiplier of the no spam word count. Increase if using a small data base.

After many years of relatively spam free messaging, I finally had to turn on Spamhalter in Pegasus 4.7. So far, so good. It catches most spam and some non-spam as well as passing most legit messages and catching some legit messages. I would like to adjust the sensitivity of Spamhalter using the Spam level (%) and Not spam boost controls. Which way should I move each to catch more, or less, spam?

 Thanks,

Ken Long

I'm not using Spamhalter, but the dialog showing up via Tools => Spam and content controls => Spamhalter contains a Help button opening a page providing the information you need for training Spamhalter, see below:

At the top of the initial help page there's a link to a page called Configuring Spamhalter which contains the information about these controls and what their values are good for.
