Saved message content lost

This is not a problem that I have ever experienced or heard of.  The only explanation that I can think of is an anti-virus/anti-malware product interfering with the successful write of the saved message.  The rule of thumb is to exclude both the Pegasus Mail executable directory (default is C:\PMAIL\PROGRAMS) and the mailbox directories (default is C:\PMAIL\MAIL and all subdirectories) from active scanning to insure no inteference by the AV product in the normal operation of Pegasus Mail.

I am using pmail Ver 4.7 on Windows XP

Sometimes (not often), when I save a message, then cancel the original, when I try to reopen the message, the content is gone.

Any idea why?

Thank you in advance.

Lydia
