Pegasus Mail on Windows 8.1

Must be careful when using the older versions of Pegasus. Some ISP's or mail servers require the newer SSL option found in v4.70 of Pegasus.

I want to install pegasus mail in windows 8.1 computer. However, when I went on download. I don't know what version is appropriate in windows 8.1. All I see is for windows xp/vista/7.

Pegasus Mail installs and runs ok on Windows 8.1 in 32-bit mode. Really important to install in c:\pmail NOT Program Files directory. I hope you are currently running in this directory (c:\pmail).

PM ver 4.63 is running perfectly well on my wife's laptop using Win 8, 64-bit. This has been discussed in some earlier "threads" in the last 12 months. It is also running on my Win 7 Pro, 64-bit.
