POP3 stops downloading unread mail from one account

At the moment - - SOLVED (hopefully).

I used the ISP's webaccess to log into my email account and deleted some emails that were received at about the time yesterday afternoon that Pegasus stopped downloading.  I am now able to download current emails from that account.

I 'assume' that one of the emails was corrupt on the server - even though I could access it via IMAP4 and the webaccess.  Deleting it/them seem to have fixed my problem.

I am using Pegasus 4.70 - - yesterday one of my POP3 accounts stopped downloading email.  My install has two user mailboxes (mine and my wife's).  I POP 4 different accounts - and am having a problem only with account A --- the other 3 are working fine.  My wife POPs only one account - the same ISP/server as my account A - but her downloads are working fine.  So it seems that the various the Pegasus modules are working - it is something about my account A POP only.  I can access my account on a different device using IMAP4 and via the web using the ISP's web access -- again - seems to be only the POP for that one account in my mailbox.

When I attempt to check mail -- Pegasus connects and checks for unread mail - and shows something like "downloading 1 of 38" and just sits until timeout.  I have increased the timeout values - it doesn't seem to matter.  Or I get the following error:

Any ideas as to what I need to check within my mailbox?  Do I have a bad inbox index that needs to be rebuilt?  Something in my pmail.ini (although I don't think anything changed yesterday to cause this)

 Thanks

Mark
