Any trick to updating to new beta?

I've done this already few weeks ago. Don't be afraid. It runs properly so far and I'm happy with it. As Rolf said, you could install it without deinstalling your previous version.

I've been happily using version 4.74 for quite a while and would like to try the 4.80 beta.  What's the best way to install it and have it use my current settings?  Should I just install it over the 4.70 install?  (After backing it up, of course. ;))

Right, make sure you have a current backup, run the installer and select Update! Remember to update the included deamons as well if you use them.
