URL's not opening with double-click

Thanks so much, Geyser. I had entered the browser path, but the "find automatically" was still clicked, Un-clicking

it did the job. I don't know why the problem started, but since it is solved I won't worry about it. Thanks again.

In the last two weeks my PMAIL 4.7 build 546 (Win 7)  has stopped opening underlined

URL's when double-clicked or when selecting the 'Open in browser." I don't think

I have changed anything other than running Malware software. I was going to reload

PMAIL, but am not exactly sure how to do that and keep all my present settings

and files. I have checked to make sure that the proper browser exe file is showing

in the Tools/Options/Hyperlinks page.

I assume you mean the Hyperlink "Web Browser commandline" text box is where you see the browser exe file. To use the exe file in the commandline box the "Find browser automatically" option must be deselected - verify that. Also, put/make sure the full correct path to the exe file is the commandline box.

If it wasn't selected I'd try the "Find browser automatically" option to see if that works.

You might also check to see if windows is properly linked to your browser.  Directions can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Change-Your-Default-Browser

If this doesn't work, what is the malware (I really assume you mean anti-malware ;-) software you installed?  Some internet research on it may reveal a cause for the issue.
