How to create/enable multiple POP3 email inboxes in Single-user Mode?

I that you are having such problems and that you missed the setting in the POP3 host configuration that controls deletion of messages on the server.  Recovery may be possible if you can create an IMAP connection to your hosted mailbox then copy the messages to the IMAP connected new mail folder.  This will put them back on the server.

For additional help start a new thread on the Pegasus Mail forum with a description of what has happened and the specifics you need help with.

This should be extremely straightforward, but although the FAQ says this is possible, after many attempts I simply cannot figure out how to do this!

What's the trick?

And where can I download a User Manual?

Thanks!

The manual (manual.pdf) is provided as part of the installation.  You can find it in the Pegasus Mail executables directory (default location is C:\PMAIL\PROGRAMS).

As for your question about how to create/enable multiple POP3 email inboxes in Single-user Mode, I believe the FAQ is referring to being able to retrieve via POP3 from multiple hosted mailboxes in single user mode.  If you are trying to create multiple "inboxes" (New Mail folders), one for each POP3 account, that can't be done.  It can however be simulated (sort of) by using a combination of filters and folders.  Please describe exactly what you are trying to accomplish so we can offer specific guidance.

If it is important that replies appear to come from the appropriate address then advise of that as well because the use of identities will need to be included in the discussion.

Edit:  OOPS!  I just noticed this was posted to the Mecury forum so disregard my post.  Sorry about that!

Hey, Thanks, Brian!

The mistake was mine, I posted my OP in the wrong place [:$]

But I've just found another unacceptable problem with Pegasus Mail: It automatically deleted ALL the messages on my server, which is a nightmare of EPIC PROPORTIONS! [8o|]

That is EVIL, and obviously I will no longer use this awful program!
