As far as I can tell by now these issues can be solved by doing a proper installation on the removable drive, i.e. make sure to run the current setup for installing all required files in the proper locations of the device (simply select New install instead of Update).

Pegasus mail Version 4.61 DE crashs when starting from removable devices (Memorystick). Tested on two different PC (Dell PC and Acer Laptop, both with Win XP Pro SP3 where no Pmail was installed). When I removed the files: IERenderer.fff and IERenderer.fde everything works fine. When copy these files back same problem as before. No way. On this machines IE6 was installed because there was an other program as browser used. Is it no more possible to use Pmail with the roam option and without installing?

All users I have spoken told me that the new look of Pmail is beautiful.

Just tested with Pegasus Mail installed on an SD card, no crash. Did you actually run the Pegasus Mail installer for upgrading the setup on the removable device instead of just coying files? If you did the latter the results are very likely to be unpredictable. As I'm already using an updated version of IERenderer (fixing some minor issues) this may accidentally fix your issue as well, though: If you send me a personal message (via IERenderer's About menu from a working Pegasus Mail setup) I'll provide you with the latest version for testing.

I had updated the Version 4.52 with the installer Pmail V4.61 DE.

I usually use Pmail from internal harddrive. When I am on the way in past I simply had copied the complete folder "PMAIL" on a removable device. Then I was able to start Pmail on every PC with for Pmail supported operatingsystem (With the roam option). When I was back I had simply copied the complete "PMAIL" folder back on internal harddrive to be with all files up to date. Now this was with V4.61 not possible. [:(]

I support other users who use Pmail in the same way. This easy funktion is for them and me very important. Perhaps you can now understand what we are doing and how some users use Pmail. [*]
