To be fair, the page looked very good - professional - tests from 2007 to 2009 plus a warning "The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine."</p><p>The reason I point this out, is that, one of googles 'results display' criteria, is clicks on a result ie to visit the page.</p><p>This means that pretty much <u>everybody</u> searching using "wine pegasus mail" will end up reading these old test results - because if they were reading the latest results, then that doc would be on the 1st google results page, and higher than the old results doc.</p><p>Which means that people are not realising that other test results exist. <p>The old xp pc failed. The new: 64bit, AMD C-50, 3Gb DDR3</p><p> It was bought in France, so new O/S in French tech lang - I speak french but trust me, tech lang is like starting all over again, whilst taking mission critical decisions! (For commercial reasons Microsoft have disabled language pack downloads in Win7 Home edition - very clever [there is a crack, but it creates problems])</p><p>So I figured NOW was the moment to move to 64bit Ubuntu 11.04.</p><p>My email requirements are: Multiple storage folders, auto self learning spam filter, send & receive, the odd 'group send'.</p><p>Will PM run under Wine, without regularly glitching?</p><p>I researched this question, but the tests at winehq are out of date, and I couldn't find anything here that directly dealt with my question, but I did see that in the past, there used to be problems.</p><p>Does anybody have current experience with Wine & PM? </p><p> </p><p> </p>
