The address and subject fields are not resizable in current 4.x series either in WinPMail or in the win OS of later versions.
The only visual change in size may be achieved by changing the display driver resolution and you might want to try 1024x768 or 800x600 if the system and monitor will allow that settings to be used. I have the same problem with my new machine with 1366x768 display.
Try using magnify which is a included in some later win OS versions.
HTML display may be increased by use of ctrl_ + pg up if using IERenderer of ctrl+> in BearHTML if size is not precoded in by the sender. If using the IERenderer it can be increased even if hard coded in the source so that may be a reason to use the IERenderer.
The OS settings for large font or 125% or 150% increase have no effect in WinPMail.
i'll try that and i managed to find a way around it crude but if i reply and if i tick include original text in the reply i was able to read the message (which is a promising job offer yippy).
I'm okay, Michael and Thomas. I only have that one that's affected and I'll just view in trash in Gmail or view in browser in the meantime. It's not a big deal.
Hi bfluet i have seen that post and the file format in windows mail is different than outlook but thanks for the reply but i think i will just use win live mail and Pegasus side by side for a while till i no longer need windows mail easiest i think
Thanks Brian Fluet, for the instruction documentation. I must put it in the next update to PMIcal. I have added some code into PMIcal to detect the meaningless filename in the attachment description (either '.' (dot) or '-' (dash). The effect will be to examine the first line of every attachment when this mis-named attachment name occurs, and see if it contains the "BEGIN:VCALENDAR" line.
I will try to get the update released to Community within the next couple of weeks.I am not looking forward to the next Microsoft Office update for Windows 10, due anytime soon, as it will probably throw more wrinkles again into vCalendar.
> Yes, both identities have the exactly same SMTP sending options.
You were sending with an identity without an SMTP setup, that's what the error message told you. Are you absolutely sure that there is not another identity without the SMTP setup?

I'm not all that sure what you mean. The only major difference between v4.6x and v4.5x is the addition if the IE Renderer as part of the install. If it's turned off there is no more complexity at all.
Yes - and, OT, it can be frustrating watching people click a menu, then click an option when they can do it with one click or a keyboard command... bleugh!
What I meant was not the possibility of infection from malicious software but the possibility that running the exe may have damaged the Pegasus installation by trying to copy/move/create files in places they should not be. That was all.
Believe it or not, but this was exactly the reason for providing an installer instead of a simple file archive for copying files to proper locations: to ensure proper setup and locations plus allowing me to remove remnants of previous test installations before IERenderer became an official part of Pegasus Mail - only that I didn't add a hint about it being an installer in the frist place ...
It appears that the file was overwritten with a default configuration this morning. Pegasus is now working fine. Just for interest, what are the typical reasons for this overwrite?
There are none, this should never happen unless the file is deleted which might happen if Pegasus Mail crashes while trying to update it - or if an AV scanner causes havoc (most likely reasons ...).
Mailer is : X-Mailer: ZuckMail [version 1.00]
It turns out that it's actually broken HTML (using CSS-style color values for plain HTML attributes, Opera and IE display it the same way, only Firefox doesn't care): While I could implement a fix for this it might open a can of worms since this kind of issue might occur in multiple locations. I would prefer the "ZuckMail" providers to fix this (after all it's only version 1.00) unless many people continue to encounter this as well in the near future.
