I have a lot of folders in a large heirarchy. I seem to have dragged a folder to an unkown position in the heirarchy. I know it's still there because I can search for and find emails that are in the folder. How can I find where the folder is in the heirarchy so I can put it back where it belongs?

I stopped using Pmail in 2008. At that time I backed up the PMAIL folder. I now would like to display some of those email messages. I installed the latest Pmail in the same folder, but it does not display the old folders.
Are the formats still compatible?
Is there a way that Pmail can access those old files?

Hi! I run PMail since the very beginning therefore many many folders are to be openend whilst every start.

Therefore every start takes so many time, up to 10 minutes, even on a top speed windows office computer.

The folders are saved on my network server, it's 1GBit network so also quite fast.

Any idea how to speed up the start?

Just a question on PM5, will it have a better support for high resolution displays?

At the moment I work with compatibility mode and modification of DPI to have PM working on 4k resolution. Otherwise without that the font of the menu and folders are nearly not readable.

I hope this will change with next version and that it will have never technology for the user interface.

Think it was richu who solved this, thanks, but for me the problem still exists. Followed the instructions which seemed to work well. Still stuck at user/pass word not accepted. I just cant see what is missing.
It is Firefox latest version and win 10. Mail via the win10 and normal browser login is ok.
Suggestions welcome, after using Peggy sine uni am reluctant to give in to MS/Goog juggernaut

Now that May 30th has come and gone, and we are all still able to access Gmail using app-specific passwords, don't you think it's overdue for you to retract your prior comments about the necessity to use OAuth2 to access Gmail?

There was ample evidence that OAuth2 was not going to be required, and yet your comments on this subject appear to have ignored all evidence to the contrary. Your continued silence, after May 30th, deserve to be clarified asap. Thanks.

I am very confused about what will happen at the end of May regarding Gmail but I am assuming that I can still use Pegasus Mail (SMTP and POP3 mode) if I setup an app password.

Please could someone explain how to do this and what the effect is. Will I have to enter this password every time I login?

why the pdf files will be never recognized as Acrobat file?
After i put the filetype in the rules for open files with Windowsapplication it will open normal after click but the type is always shown as unknown.
I have also tried to edit filetype.pm but without any result.

Is this a general bug and will be fixed with PMail 5?

Hi everyone, I have opened an excel file directly by pegasus and worked lot on it and then press save but the content did not saved , did anybody knows where it saved or any other cache files which contains the content that i have added, Thank in Advance.

This occurred straight after I tried to send a very large file which failed with an error message. I tried it again with the same result.

Not bothered now about sending the file, the problem is I can't use Pegasus.

The only way I found to get the message content was to save the Text attachment in a text file, to open it with Notepad and to find the lines with tags DTSTART and DTEND :

Is there an easyest procedure in PM to open this type of message ?.

My wife has just acquired a new laptop computer. All her files were installed in place. When I attempted to complete the update a file appeared demanding her username and all likely ones were rejected I'm sure this has been asked before but I want to know how to get out of this.
