How to create a message external to Pegasus that has hyperlinks

Thank you, Martin

For many years, I have been generating emails by having a PerfectScript macro create a text file, and then running F:\PMAIL\winpm-32.exe  -J ... .

Now I need to move on (and up!): I need to put links to web pages in these emails.

How can I do it?

Looking at my code, I see that the .txt file contains !M:70, !T:0, SY:1, TO: @LIST6F75.PML etc. lines, but I no longer have the info on what these parameters mean.

See: Help/Command line options/Advanced job submission

SY:1  means saved as 'stationary'

SY=1  has a special significance. It means don't process this file yet. You can edit the file with such things as hyperlinks etc. When you are done, change the SY=1  to SY=0, and save the file. Pegasus Mail will pick up the file and mail it at its next cycle of examining the NewMail directory.  As for codes, don't worry as long as you have a recipient, a subject and any body text.

Just a reminder that the file will be an *.pmw in the newmail directory   HTH
