Clamav v0.99.1 fails to run

DOH!  That "Example" line has bitten me in the butt before.  You would think I would learn.

Thank you!

My attempts to get Clamav v0.99.1 to run have failed so far.  There are differences in the clam.conf.sample files, new vs previous, so I used the new one with the appropriate edits (triple checked).  There were no differences in the freshclam.conf.sample files so I kept the existing one.  Clamd.exe fails to start.  Nothing gets logged.  I well start from scratch again tomorrow but would welcome feedback from anyone who has it working or has encountered problems as well.

Did you keep the .conf files or replace them with the new ones?

New conf file working OK here, after migrating settings from old file.

Did you notice the line "# Comment or remove the line below."  in the new conf file?
