v4.72 Queues

It seems to be working ok now, and showing queued messages. Odd, I tried it sending three test messages. It must have been a network/socket error or the firewall didn't recognize the new version even though I didn't get a popup warning.

I just updated to v4.72.

After I click send for new email the number of queued messages does not show on the status bar.

When I "Review Queued mail" the messages show in the Queue Manager. However when I click on the Open button the message viewer now opens instead of the message editor. The editor is desirable in case I need to make changes such as changing the mail identity, add CC or change to BCC etc.

Can we have an option to open the viewer or editor from the Queue Manager?

I wanted to go back to v4.71 but the previous version on the site is v4.70. I guess I'll have to find the install file for 470 in my archives or restore 4.71 from a disk backup.

Please take a look at the Type (left first) column in the Queue Manager: If it shows Final form you will not be able to edit the message anymore, if it shows Ready to send you may. According to your description you've got a Final form here which may happen after a failure to deliver the message properly to the Internet for whatever reason.

No need to go back since there have been no changes in queue handling with regard to this.
