Windows 10 & ter32.dll

Server went pear shaped, so it was replaced with 2012 r2, now we just have a random crash for some users anytime pegasus is opened from minimised...

I've just added a new Win10-64bit PC to our network, and when I run pegasus from our networked location, it's rejecting ter32.dll & hts32.dll.

I've tried installing Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 to fix Win10's missing dll libraries, even tried to regsvr the two files.

Any suggestions for solving this issue would be great as it's the payroll PC.

the version of Pegasus we're running is 4.72.572

Here's a copy of the error message, as we have about 10 machines all running from this same executable (XP & Win7) without issues, the only issues are with the Win 10 PC

Additional information, it seems that when the new Win10 system tries to run Pegasus & fails it stops all other users from logging in successfully, everyone gets AppHang at the loading heirachy stage.


I have re-installed Pegasus on the server from a fresh download at this point as well, on the positive side, there are no dll errors anymore >.> just the app hang & roadblock

Did you resolve this?

 What server are you running?

As Olaf suggests above, make sure that the server IP address, (or name if that is how you have mapped it), is in the local intranet settings under Internet Options.

No resolution yet, I've defined the drives the same way as i've done for every other computer in the company.

 I've aother issue atm with that pc but it's more on the user login side which shouldn't affect pegasus, but haven't had access to the machine for a day to make adjustments yet.
