Backing up mercury folder and sub folders doesn't include user passwords

Mercury will by default store the password for POP3 and IMAP in a file named PASSWD.PM in the user's mailbox directory. If these files are included in the backup then passwords are preserved. The exception is if an addon for verifying against another source such as Active Directory or Netware has been installed, but if so there is presumably already backup for that.

hi,

I'm using Mercury Mail 4.80 with great plesure.

I remember that when I've earlier made backups of my Mercury installation the users pop passwords never were included.

How can that be?

Best regards
