IMAP overhaul is still one of the major tasks for PM v5 since there are lots of "construction sites" like yours to deal with.

I find this a persistent problem. I normally use PMail as a POP client but sometimes want to check the online mail box because of a problem. I open the box using the Tools dialogue and then click it from the folders list, and then it crashes. I then reopen PMail, go through IMAP opening again, agree continue when the problem menu comes up and all is well. I've been through this routine several times in the last few months. An example would be mail.cix.co.uk.
