Adding new address failure.

I gather this is an old problem that David Harris said had been solved with the latest version.  For me it has not,  I still find the only way to do it is to copy the new address, open the address file and add new or edit old as required.

In Pmail 4.72.572 (german edition) it works for me. I could make a right click on an e-mail link > adding the address to an address book > choose the address book > complete details of the contact > finish. Finally this new contact has been added to the address book.

Puzzling. Unless for some reason I did not succeed in installing the latest update.

It says 4.70 but I didn't trust it because there was a comment in here that it had not been updated after the last upgrade.

Upgraded and still shows 4.70 February 2014 build 546, if that helps.

If the upgrade was successful you should see v4.72.572.

You can check the properties of the winpm-32.exe file to see what version that is.

Did you download v4.72 from the pmail.com site?

Checked the properties of winpm.exe, and that's the numbers showing, with a date of March 2016.  Yes I did go to the pmail.com site. On checking I've found that the desk top short cuts refer to a previous installation. When I t ry to redirect them I find that P won't load, a problem I had before, and solved by re-installation in a new folder.  Have to do it again. Ugh.

On further investigation I've found that the short cuts refer to a previous installation that I had to abandon when Pegasus started refusing to load.  Fiddling with these results in P once again refusing to load. Ugh.
