Hi guys,
I look before asking if i could find a topic as specific as mine. But I didn't. i hope it's not too much a redundancy.
So, i enabled the spam filter on one of my accounts, where i get the most spam. However, if all the real spam is going in the junk folder, i have a lot of non spam that I reclassify all the time as non spam going back to spam. Because the filtering rules takes so long, it actually "hangs" the program for a bit. PMail does not respond but as soon as the filtering is done, i'm good to go.
But what mystifies me is that they have the Green Light Stops in the top and still are in the junk / suspicious folder. What am I missing, what am i not doing wrong ? As soon as some mail does not get into spam, i tray it as spam. So that should work. I tried to whitelist email addresses as well, it doesn't seem to work completely.
And i know it's something with that spam filtering system on pmail because on thunderbird or gmail, they filter all the spam properly except for a few exceptions... I get the mail on all programs/webmail for various reasons ; so i can see how it works else where. I'm a bit at a loss here. Because even though i go into the junk folder and redo each and reclassify as non spam as soon as i put them back into new mail folder, it goes back to spam as soon as the rule is triggered.
I understand some techie terms but not much, so i'd appreciate if you could be as "laymany" as possible to explain what procedure i should use to make the filtering system work better with as step by step if possible. I know it's asking a bit much, but otherwise, i'll just go insane not getting what you're saying ;)
Thanks.
