This is such a tiny thing I'm ashamed to speak of it among all the Win 10 problems and the problems of those who've fled Win10 to Ubuntu.
In the URL bar of the Pegasus hyperlink window, "http.//" is supplied. But in my browsers (SeaMonkey, Firefox, Chrome on tablet & phone) this is in the address bar and selects with a double click along with the rest of the address.
So, I get tired of selecting Pegasus's "http.//" to overwrite it. If in all your spare time you should take a notion to delve into the message writing part of the program... give it a thought?
