“undeletable” queued mail

I would have to research what the others are although you can do this yourself using Han's guide to Pegasus Mail filenames and extensions.  Find it at: http://www.vandenbogaerde.net/pegasusmail/pf_pmfiles.html

I found a

strange bug in Pmail. There is an “undeletable” queued mail. (Look at the

attached pegasus.png file.) When I close Pmail program it say me that I have

some queued mail (panel 1). And indeed I can see it in Queue Manager (panel 2).

I delete this queued mail (panel 3) but if I close Pmail program the alert

about "not sent mail" appears again (and the same “undeletable” mail

appears in Queue Manager again too). So, how to fix this problem?

With Pegasus Mail closed, delete all zero length .PMO, .PMX and .PMW files in your Home mailbox directory. A backup of the Home mailbox directory before starting would be prudent.

If you don't know the location of your home mailbox directory go to Help | About Pegasus Mail then click the Info button.

Yessss! It works! I deleted one (and single) .PMW zero length file (with the date exactly 2010.01.14) and the problem's gone.

In Home mailbox directory I found some more zero length files - .PM!, .PM#, .PM, .PMQ and .PMI. Are these files necessary for PM or I may delete them?

Thank you for the help!
