I've used Pegasus for years. AT&T shut off my service a couple days ago, but now it's been restored. I can receive email just fine, but I can't send email. The message I get when I hit the send button is: "connecting to lexamerica.com" That's the correct name of my domain. Then it fails and says:
An error has occurred during an STMP transaction.
Hostname: lexamerica.com
Name of STMP profile: STMP <default>
Description of error: A network error occurred during connection to the host.
I've tried re-installing the program. At the point where I designate the address of my STMP server I enter "mail.lexamerica.com"
For the option "Sending STMP" there are several listed, including "outbound.att.net" and "lexamerica.com" and "mail.lexamerica.com", with no way to select any one of them. They can be disabled, but none are.
So what can I do that will allow me to send email again?
