I decided to try a Windows 10 system restore. Guess what? After the system restore, Pegasus ran perfectly with all my missing emails and address book and distribution lists. The folders structure was lost, and I suppose I will have to repair that manually, but at least the messages are there.
While poking around, I found something very surprising. There is a disk partition called Lenovo D:, which was put there by the computer maker. I almost never look at it, but I discovered that it has a folder called PMAIL CURRENT, which contained all or most of my old email messages. Since I didn't put them there, I wonder if it was done by Pegasus itself, or perhaps by Windows 10. Would you know?
Thanks for your help. You gave me some useful information.
