Importing address book entries

Thanks for the quick response. I am familiar with the process, the part I was having trouble with was finding the menu. I finally found it. I didn't realize that when it said "When an address book is the frontmost window ..." that it really means the "only" or "first" open window. I always have the folders view open, so when I opened the addressbook view (with menu button) the options were not listed. When I closed the folders and selected the addressbook button, the menu was displayed. I'm on my way now.

Thanks for the help.

I would like to import address entries from gmail. Pegasus Help says "When an address book is the frontmost window in Pegasus Mail, the Addressbook menu option becomes available at the right of the menu bar. This menu contains actions and commands specific to address books." When I open an addressbook window I don't see any options to import/export entries. The only items in the menu bar are Book, Entry, Find, Send Mail, and Apply. Where do I find the options to import/export?

Click on the main menu Address Books. The drop down list contains a number of different methods of importing (and exporting) address book entries.  The actual process requires some manual efforts to identify incoming field names and map them onto the Pegasus Mail address book entries.  See Pegasus Mail help title "Importing and Exporting addressee book entries" for details. For most people the tab delimited import is the easiest method to use. Most email clients support exporting their addresses using this method.
