Ok, I see.

The folder list is really helpful when you're viewing the Inbox.  It's really only the Sent folders that are an issue so I'm sure we'll find a way to work around it.

Hi,

I've used Pegasus in the past - it's grand! - but always had an IT coworker setting everything up.  I just configured it myself for the first time with some Gmail IMAP accounts and everything is working.  One question:

Is there a way to view the recipient header in the message viewer?

Many thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "recipient header"  The new message reader window contains a header pane showing To, From, Subject, Date sent.  The "Raw view" tab will display the raw message content.

If you are using Preview mode then you need to 'open' a message to view it in a message reader window ("Open" button or double click).

Please provide more details if this isn't what you are looking for.

Note:  There is a divider bar between the header pane and the message body that can be slid up/down to desired location.

Note2: The headers that are displayed can be customized.  Post back if you need more info on how to do that.

Thanks for this reply.  I'm sorry - I think I used the incorrect term.  We are currently using Preview mode.  When I click on a Mailbox folder, I see a list of the emails in that folder and the columns displayed are:

 From

Subject

Date/Time

Size

Is there a way to add a column displaying the Recipient?

Thanks for your patience!

AFAIK,those columns can't be changed.

You might play around with List mode, specifically, keeping the IMAP mailbox folder windows open at all times.  It's a easy way of knowing which account your working with messages from.  Actually, I'm surprised that's not obvious from the folder list of Preview mode but my experience with IMAP and Preview mode is limited to tests.

Pegasus Mail is extremely flexible so test different approaches until you find the best fit.
