Autosaved message

Perfect. Thanks.

I did look at it and it was just gibberish.

Every time I open Pegasus, a window comes up that indicates there is an autosaved message in my mailbox. When I open it, it is simply a blank. how can I delete this?

Thanks,

Freddy

There probably is a *.PMO or *.PMW file in your newmail directory.  Just delete it.

What would the newmail directory be under? I don't see a folder with that name.

Your new mailbox directory is the newmail directory.  Default is C:\PMAIL\MAIL\ADMIN but if unsure you can click the Pegasus Mail "Help" pull-down menu, select "About Pegasus Mail...", and then click the Info button.  The resulting display will contain the path to the new mailbox location.

I have found 2 PMO files: DESKTOP.PMO and EWN61SQ6.PMO

Don't see any PMW

DECKTOP.PM0 (that's a zero at the end) - Don't delete (it's your desktop state file)

EWN61SQ6.PMO (with an OH at the end) - that's the autosaved message.  Close Pmail, move it out of the newmail directory, start Pmail to confirm it solves the problem.

You can use a text editor to look at its content if you're curious.
