I am using Pegasus 2.4.10.3 recently installed on a new Windows 10 desktop computer and cannot send large attachments, more than about 500kB. I have been using Pegasus for 20 years or so on a number of different computers and have never had this problem. I am also using it now on another older Windows 8.1 desktop computer that is working fine with large attachments.
I have gone through all the Options and Internet Options in the Tools menu, but cannot find anything that may account for not being able to send large attachments. Can anyone suggest why this is happening, please, or anything I can try to overcome the problem?
Thanks, Chris

Not without any further information. What makes you believe you cannot send large attachments? Do you get any kind of error message? And if so, what does it say?

Sorry Michael, I should have said.

Afterwards, I receive an email as follows:
Delivery has failed on the enclosed message for the following reasons reported either by the mail delivery system on the mail relay host or by the local TCP/IP transport module:
*** TCP/IP error while processing job ***
A network error has occurred while WinPMail attempted to send your message. This error could be caused by many conditions, including the following:
* The remote host may have gone down.
* Your network may have been broken or gone down.
* You may have a configuration problem in your WINSOCK.DLL. * If running on a SLIP line, you may have experienced a timeout (increase the value in WinPMail's Network Config. Dialog), or the phone line may have gone down or suffered from excessive line noise.
WinPMail will requeue your message and try again later.
In my Tools/Internet Options/Sending (SMTP)/ option for my SMTP, I have the Timeout set for 30 seconds (which it is set to on the Windows 8.1 desktop that works fine). I have just tried increasing this to 120 seconds and have managed to send an email with a 3.5M attachment to myself as a test, and all appears to have gone well.
Could this have been the problem?
Chris

Yes, but there's a similar option on the General tab which you should also set to a longer timout, see below:Michael -- IERenderer's Homepage PGP Key ID (RSA 2048): 0xC45D831B S/MIME Fingerprint: 94C6B471 0C623088 A5B27701 742B8666 3B7E657C
Thanks again, Michael. That was set to 5 seconds (as it is on my Windows 8.1 desktop computer), but I have now changed both to 60 seconds, like you.
Many thanks for your help.
Chris
