Just opened the CNM file and removed the long line. Just cut it and pasted it to a badrover file. Then message opened fine in Pegasus.

Michael, it would be really helpful to add that you're using a crippled version of Pegasus Mail which doesn't use any of its default HTML renderers so other users wouldn't get concerned about their versions. If you should get crashes with a regular Pegasus Mail renderer please forward a test message to <beta-reports [at] pmail.gen.nz> so we can do something about it.

Believe this issue would have nothing to do with a renderer, since it happens when the message is processed before it is handed to the possible other renderers. Similar to the crash when someone was replying to an outlook message that was crashing if the reformat option wasn't used since line was too long. In this case that wouldn't help with this, since there are some spaces new the beginning of the decoded line, and some near the very end. But something link 4000 characters of code with no breaks.

Perhaps I'm wrong, and IER can magically fix the issue, but I'm thinking the issue is before it would get to it to do the magic.

I understand your issue, Michael, since I've been following your posts here and on the PM-WIN mailing list, but remember what this forum is mainly about and what most people are expecting to find here: They neither understand the background of your post nor it's purpose if you don't explain it and it doesn't affect them either (unless explicitely stated). In the first version of the forum we had this testers forum (created when David released a public beta for the first time ever) which would have been a more suitable one for such discussions, unfortunately it's not available anymore. I would suggest to rather discuss such issues on the mailing list where people are used to reading about such more "techy" stuff.

Just I'll just drop the community chat.. Just shared another type of message the causes an issue not due to Pegasus mail, but basically bad html code. Again, I still believe if a regular user getting the same email would have the same exact crash regardless of using IER or Bearhtml.

The email is linked to ebay, but talked with several people people on there support line, and they didn't have a clue about it. Didn't come directly from there domain ebay.com, but what from a ebay mail server and link was to rover.ebay.com? Eventually, they asked me to forward it to spoof@ebay.com and got a reply that they would look into it.

Guess Mr. Harris had a fiber issue and community was down for a while..

I have an email from our airline Jetstar that is crashing Pegasus. I am using IER and have just tested with IER 2.6.6.0.

Pegasus is still crashing, or probably going into a continual loop, even in preview mode when clicking on that email to view.

Like always, please forward zipped up to beta-reports [@] pmail.gen.nz as soon as you note, I'm constantly working on things like this so you can expect me to fix it for whichever update comes next, there's no need to hesitate.
