I'm trying to setup my server for STMP relaying, but the manual seems to be a little gray on the relationship between the different types of control. What is the precedence order for the following relay controls:
- Connection Control entries
- Normal vs Strict relay mode
- Authenticated STMP mode
For my environment, I want:
- only authenticate users to send outbound mail (Any IP addresses as long as they AUTH)
- BUT accept ALL mail relaying from the IP's of my 2 internal servers (no user/pass needed).
So, in order to setup that scenario, I need to know the precedence order between each method or relay control. I would expect the following configuration would create my environment as outlined above.
