A couple things that can help resolve issue.
With Pegasus closed go to you Mail directory and do a directory of the CNM files
dir *.cnm
If there are any that are 0 bytes in size you should remove them.
If none of those, next step is to move all the cnm files to a backup directory.
Then test if Pegasus opens without crashing.
If that is the case, you can then moved cnm files back to the mail directory in small groups.
Then check if they can be opened. If a group eventually has the crash return, move those cnm files to another directory, and continue with the original backup ones.
Then try the ones that caused crash one by one to figure which one or ones case crash..
Usually it is very bad html code, or cnm files that have lines longer than 1000+ characters.
The actual cnm files may not be longer than 1000 characters, but when decoded create super long lines..
Usually theses messages turn out to be Junk emails, but did occasionally get ebay emails that included a rover.ebay.com line that was super long.
Hope that helps.
