I recently got a new notebook (Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga). I managed to copy pmail and it works fine, now under Win11 (before Win10).

Also scrolling with my (external) mouse works almost everywhere (like in all other programs). Only in the text body on an email I am reading, scrolling with the mouse wheel does not work at all. Scrolling does not do anything. Note that scrolling in all other windows in pmail (including the header of the emails I am reading) works perfect. Just in the message body the problem exists.

By the way, I am using the German version.

None of my colleagues or technicians at my university can help me here. Any ideas or suggestions or workarounds?

What exact version of Pegasus are you using?
WinPMail version: Version 4.81.1154, Jan 10 2023, build ID 1154
Is the latest 4.81 pb3 4.80 is the latest full release, but 4.81 seems very stable and fixes a few know bugs with 4.80.

Also, have you upgraded to the latest IERenderer

Don't know about the german version??
But think upgrading to the 4.81 and latest IERenderer is usually a good ideal.

It would also be important to know which kind of email is affected: Plain text or formatted? And if the latter do you use IERenderer or BearHtml: Go to the rightmost toolbar button on Pegasus Mail's main toolbar and open its menu for figuring out the latter from the respective menu item close to its bottom.

All emails are affected, plain text and formatted.

A few hours ago, i posted that the problem is solved:
When I followed your advice “Go to the rightmost toolbar button on Pegasus Mail's main toolbar and open its menu for figuring out the latter from the respective menu item close to its bottom.” I found a red dot there and the request to update IERenderer. This I did and now scrolling works!

Unfortunately I had mixed things up and this red dot/upgrade was on my old PC. On my new notebook first I could not do this.
There was no "rightmost toolbar button" as on my other system.
When i tried to update IERenderer (also as admin) I got an error message "registry key cannot be opened: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pegasus Mail\Basedir - setup abandoned"

But now finally it worked. I restarted the notebook a few times and switched a few trimes between my normal user and my admin user in win11, and suddenly the update of IERenderer worked. mouse scrolling in Pmail works now!
