Pmail crashing when I forward email

I've noticed over the past few months that pmail (win 10 4.80) crashes sometimes when I try to forward email. This does not seem to occur when I use the forward "bounce" option, just when I try to forward it normally.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Firstly and most important, you should upgrade your Pmail version to the latest public beta at www.pmail.com/betas.htm as it sorts out a few things. After the update check if you have the latest IERenderer installed. . With Pmail running, you can check if you have the latest version by clicking "Update IERenderer" on its menu (IER icon is on Pmail's toolbar rightmost icon).

As described on Help (e.g. Forwarding messages), forwarding by bouncing a message will send it exactly as it is, no questions asked. It's like redirecting the message to someone else. OTOH if you choose "Editing" then the message will be rendered, edited or not, re-encoded and then sent. That may lead to a crash in certain cases. Maybe forwarding a message as an attachment may be your best choice. This will let you add your notes and send the message "untouched" as attachment of your own message.

See if it helps.

This would be my recommendation as well. And for an additional note: My upcoming IERenderer release will deal with some causes for this issue even if using BearHtml (i.e. disabling IER while keeping it installed). For testing I would be grateful to get one or another sample message of your's to be forwarded (sic!) to <beta-reports [at] pmail.gen.nz> so I can verify whether I've actually fixed your issues as well or need to add another fix: Please use this thread's subject for the forwards as well so I can easier tell them apart from lots of spam on this account.

TIA
