Accessing a GMail account

Hello

I try to create a PMail account to access my Gmail but it seems both POP and SMTP reject me for authorization reason

My POP settings are
Server host name pop.gmail.com
User name pop.gmail.com&sergefleury28500@gmail.com&995
Password My password checked several times
Server TCP/IP Port 995
Via direct SSL Connect

My SMTP settings are
Server host name smtp.gmail.com
Server TCP/IP Por 465
Via direct SSL Connect
Login to the SMTP server using the following details
Username sergefleury28500@gmail.com
Password My password checked several times

Do you see any error in these parameters ?

I captured the Pegasus exchange in cas it's useful

By the way, I read on the net that there is some "OAUTH2" mechanism in GMail - It seems this was adressed in version 4.8.1 of Pegasus Mail
I use Version 4.8 and that's the best version I could find on Pegasus websit e

And finally, how do I create a totally new Pegasus Mail account - I did it long time ago and dont remember ;-(

Thank you all for any help you can provide Have a good week-end

IMPORTANT: @serge28 , the content you posted contains the username and password in easily decodable form. You should change the password. When posting log file content, obfuscate the four entries following the "AUTH LOGIN" entry.

Version 4.81 is a public beta. It is rock solid and fixed some bugs that were in 4.80 so is recommended. The only caveat is a problem associated with having your Home and New mailboxes in different directories. There is a workaround so start a new discussion for details on this if you think it applies to you and wish to pursue 4.81. You can find the link to 4.81 on the pmail.com website in the "Newsflashes and notable links" frame.

As for Gmail, yes, there is an OAUTH2 mechanism in 4.81. What we know as of today is that authentication to a Gmail account does not work with Basic authentication (using your Google account username and password). They promote OAUTH2 authentication but you can still authenticate using an App password. An App password is a password that you obtain from Google for use when authenticating with a program like Pegasus Mail. If you are not familiar with a App password, a web search should reveal details on how to obtain one. Using an App password would allow you to stay with 4.80.

And finally, how do I create a totally new Pegasus Mail account - I did it long time ago and dont remember ;-(

I don't know what "Pegasus Mail account" refers to. Please explain what you want to accomplish. This might be better in a separate post since it is unrelated to connecting to a Gmail account.
