Ideal just came to mind. Believe there was an issue with Bearhtml having an issue if the C:\Temp directory didn't exist or perhaps D:\Temp in your case. I don't recall the specifics, but just creating the directory and making sure it was writable to the user. I don't have IERenderer or BEARHMTL on my system since the IERenderer has issues with Linux, and HTS32 and TER32 are newer than the older BEARHTML, and seem to work better for Linux (at least for me).
Think Pegasus was modified at some point to user the users Temp directory, but BEAR was written to user the C:\TEMP directory, and it doesn't find the directory, might give that error.
Only 3 message in the years directory with \temp, and 13 from last years. Haven't looked at all of them.
Perhaps you could doublem check that the Temp directories do exist as shown in the directories.
Believe your earlier message showed the TEMP directories on the C: drive?
Do the exist on C: drive and/or D: drive, and are they writable?
On mine they show.
WINPMAIL.EXE directory: C:\PMAIL\Programs
Home mailbox location: C:\PMAIL\MAIL
New mailbox location: C:\PMAIL\MAIL
TMP environment variable: C:\users\msetzerii\Temp
TEMP environment variable: C:\users\msetzerii\Temp
Do you have yours as C: or D: for any and do the exist and writable.
What exact version of Windows are you using?
