Issues with using PGP under Pegasus Mail
PGP

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to get the PM-PGP plugin working with Pegasus Mail 4.9.1. Gpg4win is installed and functioning properly, but since PM-PGP requires a classic PGP installation, I installed PGP Desktop 10.4. Didn't find an older version.

Unfortunately, the PM-PGP installer reports "Incorrect PGP version" and aborts. A manual installation of the plugin files also fails, as the PGP SDK Core Library appears to be missing.

Has anyone successfully used PM-PGP with newer PGP versions? Is there a way to bypass the version check or manually integrate the plugin?

Alternatively, does anyone have access to a working version of QDPGP that’s compatible with GnuPG from Gpg4win?

The links to QDPGP here are not working anymore.

Thanks in advance for any advice or workaround!

Best regards, Lothar.

Yes, I (as the PM-PGP deceloper) still have it working myself but with an outdated PGP version. There's no way to provide an update for it anymore since I can't get its sources for doing so (it's not Open Source anymore).

QDPGP hasn't been maintained for a long time, you may try the "WayBackMachine" (the Internet archive) for getting its latest version, but it might still not work with either.

Here's the URL of the archived page with the ZIP downloads still working both of QDPGP and QDGnuPG!
