can't send mail

I assume you are running the MercuryE module for SMTP delivery? To get more information please switch on detailed logging in that module, send a short test message, switch off detailed logging again and post the result here.

Mail handler for the domain druifjes.nl is druifjes.nl with IP 72.29.64.240. mail.druifjes.nl is a CNAME for druifjes.nl, mailserver.druifjes.nl is apparently not registered in DNS. IP 72.29.64.240 is available and reports host name dime87.dizinc.com. There is however an Exim mailserver answering there, not Mercury:

220-dime87.dizinc.com ESMTP Exim 4.68 #1 Fri, 07 Dec 2007 20:39:57 -0500

Hi,

I honestly do not know if i am wrong or right in this part of the forum, but please can anybody help me...

I run latest pmail on my own domain mail.druifjes.nl and because of a shift in webhosting it all comes down on my own server, so i'm preparing my w2003 server to act as an mailserver too. I use Mercury, thanks David, and put the things where they should be. Pop3 and SMTP are both mail.druifjes.nl.

Since i put that in place and whilst my webhoster still exist, i found that i can't send mail. Where once i saw that all mail was qued before sending it says now that the message has been sent successfully, but it never get's out...

So, i thought, i'll rename him to mailserver.druifjes.nl but it did not bought the trick. it still sends without actually sending.

MErcury and Pegasus work together, and i saw some bit running by whilst installing MErcury about settings, but i checked it all and found nothing wrong, i even used the ip-adres of my webhoster in SMTP. Receiving mail from external mail works...

Can anybidy tell me where i went wrong??

 Thanks in advance,
