Hi.

Today I got an answer from an eBay seller .

My eBay account is setup to forward my incoming  private messages to my (Yahoo) email account.

When I look at the message on eBay, the Euro symbol is okay, but the email I got shows a question mark instead of the Euro symbol.

Opening the message in the web browser shows the same thing.

If I look at the raw data, I also see a question mark.

I can forward the email to the developers, if they wish to look at it.

In PM, my Yahoo network setup is POP3S on port 995.

Might want to check the default MIME character set you are using, the euro symbol is not supported in the ISO-8859-1 but it is in either the IS0-8859-15 or UTF-8.  That said, I really suspect that the stuff coming from eBay might even be using the wrong character set.  Checkout the raw view of that message to see what character set they are using.  If they are using the wrong character set then there is nothing you can do on your end.

I'm going to change my default charset to either -15 or UTF-8. (although I suspect this won't change anything for incoming mail with the wrong charset?)

Is PM fully supporting UTF-8? Or am I better go with -15 ?

The Euro symbol is defined as a symbol € in the html specifications.
