Now i remember why i had left my local printer as default. It had accidentally gotten changed to the network printer.

Hi folks

When opening a message, my pegasus mail install takes over 10 seconds for the first message. If i click the red/blue previous/next buttons, the transition is instant. It only takes a long time if the viewing window is not yet open. If i close it and open it again, it is slow. This happens for all types of messages, simple text, all the way to complex html. Previewing is off. I tried a reinstall of pegasus in a separate folder and the problem still happens with a fresh install and none of my settings transferred to the new version.

Does anyone have an idea? It sounds like something to do with the way that pegasus makes new windows?

Oh, and the problem even happens when i click on the icon to start a new message.

thanks!

Eric

Try setting up a new printer set to print to a file and make this the default printer.  If this fixes the problem yuo have a bad printer driver.
