I have always assumed that the address in Tools/Internet Options/General was to enable Pegasus to download the correct mail from my ISP as well as putting the "From" address on the message.

After many years of using Pegasus I have started to use a web address as my published email address which is redirected to my to my actual one.  I would like to omit the actual address from the headers of my emails.  Is there any way of doing this?

I have included the published address as a "Reply to", but Pegasus puts my actual address as the sender, making it confusing for recipients.

Any advice would be appreciated

What do you have under Tools/Internet Options/General - 'My internet email address' ?  That should be your new address.
