Change time between MercuryC mail atempts?

Hi Thomas,

I did see that setting but since it did not say anything about SMTP I never put 2 and 2 together.  I spent most of my time looking in MercuryC configuration settings.  I will try your suggestion.

Many thanks for the help,

Hi All,

I have one thing I can not figure out.  When I manually click on the 'Poll now' button in MercuryX my POP3 and SMTP processes begin.  But, if my SMTP process gets an error and my messages do not go out there seems to be a 15 or 20 minute delay before 'Poll now' will active MercuryC again.  How do I change this time delay?  I have looked every where I can think of but nothing seems to work.  If MercuryC has an error and I want to try again I do not want it to wait, I want it to try again now.

Thanks for any help,

When MercuryC fails the message is re-queued as a MO*.QCF/QDF file pair.  The time for the next attempt (30 minutes default) is stored in the QCF control file and it will not be re-tried again until this time passes.  You can modify this time in the Configuration | Mercury Core  |  Mail queue but it should not be set for anything less than about 5 minutes.
