My POP3 mail fails with just one of my three users, running WinXP SR2. Whenever I attempt to download the mail, the NOD32 antivirus program attempts a download, and eventually the POP3 mail download stops trying to get mail, on message 1 of 10. I have tried rebooting, no change. I have gone to the NOD32 program to ask for updates, but it says I am current. I don't know anything else to do, but I don't know how I will ever get at my mail, either.

Looks like the NOD32 proxy is failing, probably via a timeout, not too unusual for a proxy. Don't use NOD32 between WinPMail and the server and see what happens. Make sure your POP3 timeout is at least 120 seconds. If this works simply use the VirScan extension to call NOD32 when reading the mail as opposed to scanning when downloading.
